Ingredients

  • 2 Kesar Mangoes ripe
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt or dairy-free alternative
  • 1/2 cup Milk of choice
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar or honey/maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cardamom
  • 1 handful Ice Cubes

Instructions

  • Peel the mango and add the flesh to a blender jug, along with the yogurt, milk, cardamom, sugar and ice.
  • Blend the mango lassi starting your blender at a low speed then gradually increasing the speed, until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste the mango lassi and add more sugar or cardamom if desired. If your lassi is too thick, you can blend in a little more milk until you reach the desired consistency.
  • Pour the mango lassi into glasses and garnish with extra ground cardamom (optional).
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Best served immediately.
  • You can make this using mango pulp instead of fresh mango.
  • You can make this using frozen mango instead of fresh - if this is the case, omit the ice.
  • If you are using a variety of mango that is less sweet, you may wish to add more sugar.
