Ingredients
120g / 4ozRaspberriesfresh or frozen, or any other berries of choice
1tspLemon Juice
1tspMaple Syrupor agave syrup, or honey
1tbspChia Seeds
Instructions
Add the berries to a small saucepan and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes until juicy. Use a fork or wooden spoon to gently mash the berries. At this point, you can blend the berries if you so wish.
Add the lemon juice, maple syrup, and chia seeds to the saucepan and mix together.
Leave the jam for about 20 minutes to thicken up and cool down.
Stir the jam before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Prepared chia seed jam will last up to 1 week in an airtight container in the fridge.
You can also make chia jam in the microwave – simply microwave the berries until soft and juicy, then stir in the remaining ingredients and leave to cool.
